While there were tragic times, I followed the extreme belief that faith, in every respect, ruled my soul, never allowing fear to have any dominion over the infinite power of a God so great, that His power and love enter the unfathomable.
Throughout this book, I have taken extreme liberty in revealing the fact that you are never alone! The very God who created you has always been there during the darkest of times, to provide you with a future and an eternity so magnificent that this seemingly unsearchable peace beckons us with an eternal light so mesmerizing that you will long for this indescribable emotion that can, if you are willing to, penetrate the greatest depths of your being.

While this book is written in a War Zone Environment, the underlying truth throughout the book is our complete reliance on God during those unforseen times where Faiths delivering power revealed a truth which was evidenced by an utter belief that rose above any doubt, that God's orchestration was as Devine as His Immaculate immeasurable name witnessed by our faith and trust in He and His Son, Jesus Christ.
An Enduring Faith is fantastic, it is a must read.
Life as a contractor for KBR in war torn Irag is unimaginable for most of us. Davis presents a glimpse of the danger, sacrifice and courage of soldiers but also individuals hired by private companies to support the gigantic logistics of such a huge operation. Every page gives praise and honor and glory to God. Kerry Davis sees every circumstance and every encounter as God ordained and an opportunity to witness, trust God and seek His will. I am sure I join everyone who knows him in thanking God for his safety and this record of that experience. Very inspiring and encouraging!
When I started to read before I went to bed, little did I know I'd be caught up in the world of war- torn Iraq. Hours later, I finally made myself put down the book, but grabbed it again upon awakening. Davis draws you into his world, especially his faith in Jesus, and brings that world and faith alive! Loved reading every word and I admire Davis for putting feet to his faith, unlike many of us who are content to just speak words of faith. Davis lived his faith daily.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Kerry's Faith is evident throughout this compelling true story. His faith was used by God to help protect him, his fellow KBR drivers and the soldiers who protected the convoys with the prayers he prayed before their missions. Those prayers protected all these souls with Wings of Angels. This is a superior biography of a year in a war zone and is hard to put down once you start reading. It is so important to see faith at work in our daily lives.
